Step 1 – Beautiful Base

I prepared Mimi's skin with Trilogy's Organic Rosehip Oil. Not only was this used as a base moisturiser around the eyes but for highlighting areas of the face; cheekbones and cupids bow. Next, I applied a very light layer of INIKA Truly Organic Liquid Foundation in Tan, to even Mimi's skin tone and create a dewy flawless skin.

TOP TIP: Apply your foundation with a buffing brush in circular motions to create flawless, well-blended natural coverage. It also helps to get some of the rosehip oil on a brush to assist with blending and to create a beautiful dewy complexion! If it's winter or just very cold, finish by running clean hands over face for final blend, the heat from your hands will help your skin absorb the product and create natural finish with no streaky lines.

Step 2 – Blush & Contour

For contouring Mimi's cheekbones and also on her eyes (light shadow on crease line for socket definition) I used Ere Perez's Pure Rice Powder Bronze Tones (above).

Step 3 – Eye Makeup

To create Mimi's stunning eye makeup, I used Inika Eyeliner Pencil in Black to define the lash-line, blended out with black and brown mineral eyeshadows.  I completed the eye makeup with Ere Perez's Almond Oil Mascara.

Step 4 – Lipspiration

To create Mimi's beautiful lipstick shade, I used Karen Murrell Lipstick in Red Shimmer (just a light coat) followed by Bite Beauty Lip Gloss in Rambutan.

Step 5 – Highlight

To complete Mimi's makeup, I used Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Creme on her cheekbones, inner corner of eyes, down centre of nose and cupid's bow. Highlighters are an absolute necessity in my makeup kit; they help bring skin to life and give a radiant glow whilst highlighting features on the face!

TOP TIP: Mix a drop of liquid highlighter with your foundation to get an all over radiant glow – this is especially good during winter and for anyone who suffers from dry skin.
