Chocolate & Almond Granola Recipe


When rushing to get to work in the mornings it can be hard to eat a healthy and nutritional breakfast that doesn't take hours to prepare and also tastes good! This Chocolate & Almond Granola recipe from Natural Minimalist is all-natural, super healthy and rather delicious. You can pre-make a batch on the weekend so it's all ready for you in the week. Better still, the whole grain and raw ingredients, including oats and almonds, are very satisfying and provide slow releasing energy that should see you through the morning. Perhaps what I like most about it is the chocolate, but, being raw cacao powder it isn't so naughty after all; the sweetness in this granola comes from raw honey.

Chocolate & Almond Granola

Approx. 20 serves
1 serve = 1/3 cup

What You Will Need

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Prepare a large greased or non-stick baking dish.

Combine all the ingredients in a medium sized bowl, then transfer into your baking dish spreading evenly.

Bake in the oven for around 45 minutes, making sure to stir mixture half way through cooking to ensure it does not burn.

Allow to cool and store in an airtight jar or container.

Serve with your milk or yoghurt of choice and enjoy!
