Oscars 2014: Best Makeup Looks

The leading ladies seen at the Oscars last week sported stunning makeup with the latest trends including luminous skin, nude lips and natural eye makeup. All the makeup looks below can be created using natural beauty products. Here are some of our favourites:

Cate Blanchett

Oscar winner Cate Blanchett was not only dressed to perfection but had beautiful makeup that complemented her style perfectly. The lighter shades of pale seen on her dress were reflected through her makeup, with the focus being her natural radiant glow. Extra long lashes, soft peach eyeshadow, a touch of peach blush and nude lips were all this natural, Australian beauty required.

Amy Adams

Oscar nominee Amy Adams was an elegant beauty in royal blue. Her pinned back hair gave focus to her fresh faced makeup. A luminous primer, soft muted coral lip and natural eye makeup, including liquid eyeliner, extra long lashes and warm peachy eyeshadow, gave her a soft and radiant look.

Lupita Nyong'o

Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o looked gorgeous in a soft, baby blue dress. Her pretty makeup included a pinky coral lip with matching cream blush and natural eye makeup. Her skin had a luminous finish and her eyebrows were groomed to perfection. The cute diamond alice band is both playful and feminine, matching her makeup style.

Sandra Bullock

Oscar nominee Sandra Bullock was a sophisticated beauty in a satin, midnight blue ball gown. Her smokey eye makeup looks sultry and glamorous on her deep brown eyes. Her makeup artist used a deep plumy shade on her upper lid and gave the look a unique twist with blue eyeliner on her inner, lower lash line. Barely there, soft pink blush and lips ensure the focus is on the eye makeup.
